Ok, so Bude isn’t exactly renowned for its New Year festivities! There’s no big firework display; no raucous fancy-dress shindigs or all-night partying – even in normal times, let alone in Covid year!
However, if your idea of a perfect New Year is to enjoy some bracing walks with the dogs on Cornwall’s wild north coast and a quiet drink in a cosy country pub; or perhaps in front of a roaring woodburner to watch a 4k film on Netflix with a glass of your favourite tipple – or maybe to enjoy a wonderful family time playing board games, then perhaps the Beach Haven would be ideal for you!!
You can cook a feast in the huge oven and 5-ring ceramic hob or just have a pizza delivered if that’s more of a treat for you!
Or, our particular favourite: a barbecue on Crooklets beach on New Year’s Day. Not many people get the opportunity to do that. It’s much more memorable than a drunken party!
We have availability from Monday 28th December. (This is currently for a maximum of 6 people at the moment, unless from the same household, in which case we can accommodate 8.)
